Use of Site

You may only use this site to browse the content, make legitimate purchases and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchase. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. 'Deep-linking', 'embedding' or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.

Disclaimer of Warranty

The contents of this site are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement.

The Bathroom Store, the authors of these contents and in general anybody connected to this site in any way, from now on collectively called "Providers", assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in these contents.

The Providers further do not warrant, guarantee or make any representation regarding the safety, reliability, accuracy, correctness or completeness of these contents. We share your name, delivery address, email, and phone number with the courier service we use for delivery. (Typically The Courier Guy or Kargo Logistics, but this is subject to change)  They may contact you via email and/or phone regarding your delivery.

Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Products & Availability

Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Should we have stock available, orders will be dispatched within 1 working day provided payment is validated/received.

Should the product not be in stock please allow at least 10 working days plus freight transit time. This will allow for manufacturing and delivery to our warehouse.  If an item is out of stock, we'll contact you to inform you of the estimated lead time.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence The Bathroom|STORE will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule.

We do everything we can to ensure every product is accurately described and pictured.  We cannot be held responsible for any errors or ommisions on product information.  If we've made a mistake in not delviering the correct item, and you'd like to return it, we'll accept it back in its unused condition.


Delivery Policy

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.

While the providers will make every effort to have your stock delivered on time they accept no responsibility for delays which are out of their control including but not limited to stock availability, courier company delays or any other delays that may arise as the result of a third party

If the courier is unable to make contact to arrange for delivery, the goods will be returned to us.  We'll issue a refund less the actual cost of shipping or the amount charged for shipping, whichever is greater.  We also reserve the right to charge a 15% handling fee if we'll incur costs outside of a normal return. (ie. re-stocking fees charged by our supplier)

If you're address is outside the delivery area of our courier service, we'll ask for an alternative delivery address.  If an alternate address can't be provided, or is still outside the delivery area, we won't be able to ship your order, and we'll refund you.

Shipping

Please ensure the correct shipping address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.

The shipping fee is based on shipping an order complete.  Should an item(s) not be available we'll notify you, and will wait for the item(s) to arrive before shipping the order.  If you'd like us to ship seperately, we may request an additional payment for the extra shipping fee.

We do not ship to the following:

Hospitals, Farms, Mines, Chain Stores, Power Stations

We can not guarantee a delivery time or day.  We will give an estimated delivery date, but sometimes there is a delay which is out of our control.

Any request for a phone call prior to delivery will be passed on to the courier, but we can not guarantee they'll call.

If the incorrect shipping method or location is entered, we have the right to request the additional funds, or to cancel the order.

If the courier doesn't deliver to your address, a suitable alternate will be requested. If this can't be provided, we'll refund you.

Return shipments done at the customer's expense & must be insured for the value of the items.

Farms, Rural areas, and Townships need to be quoted on prior to purchasing. We reserve the right to request an additional amount or cancel the order if the order is placed for deliver to a farm, rural area, or Township without consulting us prior.

Damages

All items are inspected for completeness and quality before shipment.

All damaged items need to be reported to us via email within 48 hours of receipt.

All ceramic and fragile products need to be checked with the courier on delivery before they leave.  The courier will unfortuatently not wait for someone to check these, so please ensure there is someone available on delivery to check the items before the courier leaves.  If there are any damages, please take note of them with the courier & let us know immediately.

All other non fragile goods need to be checked within 48 hours of delivey.

Please notify us of any issues, which will do our best to rectify quickly.

Shipping costs due to a fault of our own will be covered by us. (This needs to be reported within 48 hours)

If an item arrives damaged and is reported within 48 hours, we reserve the right to refund the full purchase price of the item or re-ship the same item.

If damages are not reported to us within 48 hours, we can not be held responsible for any replacements or refunds.

Pricing

The Bathroom Store reserves the right to change and amend pricing at any time.  We reserve the right to cancel any confirmed and paid order if there has been an error in pricing.  A full refund will be issued if we cancel an order due to a pricing error.  If the pricing error is within reasonable ranges, as determined by us, we will endeveavour to honor that price.

Deposits

If you order with us, but not directly through The Bathroom Store Website, you may be asked to pay a deposit to confirm your order. Deposits are paid for non-stocked items where we special order them from our suppliers.  For the most part deposits are non-refundable.  If we're able to cancel an order with our supplier, and not pay fees, we'll issue a full refund back.

Balance of payment on deposits is due within 7 days of the stock being ready for dispatch.  An email will be sent out when the balance of payment is due. We'll hold the items for up to 4 weeks while awaiting the balance of payment, at which point we'll keep the deposit paid to offset the costs.

Undeliverable packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment, at the buyer’s expense.  If packages are returned to us, we'll refund the order amount less the shipping charge, and any supplier re-stocking fees, if applicable.

Order processing

Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.

Refunds/returns Policy

Should you for any reason wish to cancel your purchase you will be liable for the costs to return the package to our warehouse. You must advise us in writing of your cancellation and any such cancellation must be signed by the person who made the original purchase.  The goods must be returned to us undamaged in the original packaging within 15 calendar days. Refunds will only be processed once the goods have been checked and deemed to be in good condition.  All non-stocked items are subject to approval from the supplier, before a refund can be processed.

All returns not due to our fault are subject to a handling fee ranging between 10-25%.

If we stock the item, we won't charge a handling fee, however all non-stocked items will need approval for return by our supplier.  If the supplier does not accept the return, we unfortuantely can't process a refund.

All items not stocked, and specially ordered must first send us an email requesting authorization for the return.

Damaged goods must be reported by email within 24 hours after delivery has taken place. Unless otherwise stated goods are deemed to have been received in good working order.

Shipping charges are non-refundable, and if an item is returned, we'll deduct the actual shipping cost if its higher than what was paid.

We can assist with the return shipping, but will charge the original shipping cost, or the actual cost of the return shipping if the return is due to no fault of our own.  (We don't take responsibility for delayed shipments once the courier has collected the order)

If a supplier refuses a return, for any reason, we can not accept the return ourselves.

We do not accept any returns or offer any refunds or returns on the following products

  • Toilet seats
  • Used items, as determined by us
  • Any damaged item, not declared damaged within 24 hours of receipt

Refunds will be issued after we have received and inspected the returned item(s).  Refunds will be made in accordance with the original payment method.   Please allow 1-2 business days for refunds to reflect after we’ve received your item(s)

Please note:  Return shipping can be costly on large items like baths. Please ensure your items’ style and size will be suitable for your installation before ordering.

Return shipments done at the customer's expense must be insured for the value of the items.

International customers need to make their own arrangements for returns and should make use of a courier that offers:

1. Shipment tracking

2. Insure your package for safe return and declare the full value of the shipment failing which loss or damage will be for your account.

* A 10-25% handling fee is applicable on all returns

Payment Options and Pricing

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

The Bathroom|Store endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products; you're total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges (on the day of shipping).

The Bathroom|Store reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.  We also reserve the right to change the shipment fee, should our shipping costs exceed the shipping amount paid.The customer reserves the right to cancel the order for a full refund, should we change the price on a product or the shipping fee amount.

Credit Card


We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order. All of your order details will be saved online under in the Your Account section available for use whenever you’re ready.

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)

One of the most widely used ways of sending money online. Once you have added enough items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and follow the order processing instructions. Select the option to pay via EFT. You will then have to load The Bathroom|Store as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment. This should ensure speedy processing and delivery of your selected products.

Security Policy

  1. Paygate process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.
  2. Paygate is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
  3. The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
  4. Paygate continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological changes.

Monitoring


We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

Law


The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Updating of these Terms and Conditions


We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.

Consent

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to The Bathroom Store and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by The Bathroom Store for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
